International Humanitarian City (IHC) Free Zone Authority

H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai formed the International Humanitarian City (IHC) in 2007. IHC is the world’s only independent, non-profit free zone with a mission to become the ‘leading global humanitarian hub in logistics, innovation and collaboration, empowering its members to create lasting change in the lives of people in need.’ Numerous UN agencies, NGOs, and private entities have chosen IHC for company setup in Dubai due to its effectiveness and Dubai’s proximity to two-thirds of the world’s population. On the 104,000 square meter site, there are specially designed offices for humanitarian organisations, including multiple warehouses to store emergency supplies.
